More of Jacie's 3 month photos

It has taken me forever...but I finally was able to post some of my favorites! My friend Jess who works at the chamber did these for us...she is very reasonable and does a great job. I highly recommend her so if you are interested check out her site: www.jaybeeimages.com. You can see the rest of Jacie's photos on our Picasa site.

Jacie is Rolling Over!

On August 20th Jacie rolled over for the first time. She does it backwards from most babies since she goes from her back to her tummy. She then gets stuck on her tummy and can't figure out how to get back. It is pretty darn cute. I hope you enjoy the video!!! :)

Jacie's 3 months old!

It is hard to believe that another month has come and gone. Jacie had her three month pictures taken this past weekend. My friend Jess did them and I am so excited to see all of them. In the meantime she sent me one little teaser photo below. I just love it! Her eyes look so blue!

Things at the Johnson house have been pretty crazy. I am now well into my second full week back at work. We are all adjusting. Daycare at grandmas is going great as expected and we really love the in home daycare she is going to as well. Jacie has adjusted very well and as a rule she is sleeping through the night...at least the majority of the time. She has three big bumps in her mouth that look like teeth are about to poke through. I know that is strange and really early, but I guess you just never know.

Once I get more photos I will do another post!

It has been a while!

Life has been hectic...sorry it has been so long since I posted. The Johnson clan has been very busy. Two weeks ago we had Jacie's baptism. It was a very nice day with lots of family and friends. The entire weekend was great, we had a house full of company which kept us very busy.

This past week we where in the Twin Cities. We had a wedding on Friday in Minneapolis and then another one in Pepin on Saturday. We enjoyed seeing all of our family and friends.

Tomorrow I head back to work. I am definitely not looking forward to it, but am trying to stay positive! We will keep everyone posted!

Here are some photos of our latest adventures:

Erin and I selfishly wanted pics of the kids in these matching outfits...it didn't work so well!

We had a great time at David and Kim's wedding!

Auntie Katie got Jacie this cute outfit!

Has it really been two months!?!?!

Jacie had her two month dr. appointment today and her first set of shots. Even after getting three shots she still has a smile on her face! :) She has her little Dora bandaid on her chunky thigh. Her check-up was great...she is in perfect health. She weights 11 lb. 1.5 ounces (50th percentile) and she is 23.5 inches long which is the 90th percentile. She is going to be a tall girl, there is no doubt!!! The pediatrician said we are doing things right and that she is right on track, which is always nice to hear. We are now working on trying to get her interested in rolling over. Unfortunately she LOVES being on her tummy so whenever we lay her that way she just lays her head down and wants to go to sleep. In time I am sure she will get the hang of it though.

Our Trip to Bowling Green

From the lake Jacie, my mom and I made a trip to Bowling Green, MO to visit Jacie's Great Aunt Theresa and her cousins Cale and Maddy. Maddy completely fell in love with Jacie and definitely did not want us to leave. We relaxed a lot while we where there and we also got to go see Cale get his double blue belt in Karate. It was really a great time!

She was passed out!!! Maddy was a great babysitter.

Cale checking Jacie out from afar...he didn't want to hold her because he thought she might make him stink...he is pretty entertaining! :)

A week at the lake

We took our annual vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks with the Weinandt clan this past week. The McKenna's where kind enough to lend us their home for the week. We had an amazing time relaxing by the pool and soaking up the sun. Jacie has become quite the exceptional traveller. She is such a good baby!

Jacie and GG taking a snooze
Jacie went for her first swim. We waited until it was shady and we took her in the pool. I got her this cute little swimsuit that covered her arms so she wouldn't get a sunburn. She really didn't know what to think...she just kind of had this puzzled look on her face the entire time....but she never cried at all. What a cutie!

One evening we rented a boat and Uncle Zach took us for a ride!
Jacie chillin in the bumbo with her shades...she is so darn cute I can hardly stand it.

Relaxing with Uncle T....Jacie LOVES her uncles.

Family photo-op

Jacie discovered the TV at the Lake...she is just hanging with dad watching TV.

Preston is an ASA!!!

Preston recently got word that he has officially received his ASA. He has the initials behind his name and all! :) We are so excited that he is one step closer to being done with all of his testing. He is already on to the the next exam and is studying quite a bit. He will take the next test in November. In total he has 4 exams and two modules to complete before he is completely finished.
Preston's aunt Dolorah sent him this beautiful piece of blown glass congratulating him on his accomplishment. We have it in our living room sitting on top of the runner we got in Venice on our honeymoon. It looks great!

Happy Fourth of July

Jacie had to celebrate the Fourth of July two days in a row because she had two Fourth of July outfits that where adorable. We couldn't let one go to waste! Daddy had Friday off so we went to Aunt Amy and Uncle Zach's house...with every intention of relaxing by the pool. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy all day so instead we just hung out and grilled for dinner. It was a nice and relaxing day!

Great Aunt Stacie and my second cousins Jenna, Hanna, and McKenna gave me this adorable outfit!

Cousin Emma is reading me The Foot Book. She even let me borrow her fish pillow to lay on.

Spenc rocking Jacie!

Elmo had to check out Jacie too!

How cute is she? Great Aunt Rosie gave her this adorable dress for the 4th before she was even born. It looked so cute on her. The actual 4th of July was also rainy and cold. We went over to Grandpa and Grandma Weinandt's and grilled out with a bunch of friends and family. We sat in the back and watched fireworks. Jacie had a very fun-filled day and she was tuckered out by the end of it!
