Fall Fun at the Apple Orchard!

This past weekend we decided to make the trek to NE City to the Apple Orchard. We took Jacie last year, but she was too little to enjoy the tasty treats. It was kind of a rainy day, but we had a great time anyways. After the orchard we drove into town and went to this little BBQ restaurant for lunch. J was definitely tuckered out by the time we made it home!

Yum! This is delicious!

This was our one little tantrum...mommy and daddy made me get out of the train and I was having so much fun!!!

Overall it was a great day!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

This year we had a nice quiet bday celebration for daddy at home. Mommy made dinner and we had apple pie for dessert! It was a very nice evening.

Big Birthdays!

We had two big birthdays in the Weinandt household this August. Mom turned 50 and Zach turned 21. We threw them a big party at Champions and we had tons of family and friends show up. Everyone had an awesome time.
We decided to take a big family photo and Zach was feeling a little left out being the only single one. Uncle Bill threw this random girl in the photo so he felt better! The bad thing is she is younger and skinnier than I am and she happens to be wearing the same dress!!!

Royals Game

In August Jacie experienced her first Royals game. She got to experience Rosenblatt at least once! We had Faith and Family night for church. She loved the game...lots of clapping and cheering. We didn't think she would make it very long and she actually lasted the entire game...fireworks and all.

It was a little hot...can you tell? We were all sweating!
Cool shades!

Fun on the Farm

Once again I have gotten myself behind on my blog posts. Here are a few quick posts to update everyone on what the Johnson clan has been up to!

We took several trips up north this summer to spend time with family and friends. The kids loved being able to run around on the farm and play "side" as Jacie says! :)

I think the best way to describe this photo would be the three stooges! :)

It is hard to believe that just a little over two years ago the picture of "the crew" would have only been the four of us. Now look...we can hardly all fit on the couch!

This is my little man Ethan Matthew. How cute is he??? He is getting soooo big sooo fast!

Preston and Luke doing a little uncle-nephew bonding in the skidloader!

The Ozarks

We took our annual Weinandt Family Vacation to the Ozarks again this year. We had a nice and relaxing time laying by the pool and soaking up some sun! Jacie was very well behaved and enjoyed the trip as much as we did.

All of the kiddies were very good.

Eating so lunch!

Jacie checking out the view from upstairs with Uncle Zach. She like to wave to the boats!

I love this picture...these two are two peas in a pod!

4th of July Weekend

My three adorable peanuts!!!!

Jacie in her adorable little Fourth of July dress from Uncle Bill and Aunt Cathy!

We had a busy, but relaxing weekend. The twins celebrated their 6th Birthday so we went to their pool party. Jacie had a blast!

Then we had a surprise last minute visit from the Gens Family. It was so much fun, we took a trip to the zoo and spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and catching up. It was really great having them here!

Lucas liked the bears!

And the fish!

Our last CWS at the Blatt...

Since it was the last year at Rosenblatt we had to make sure and get to a game. Bill and Cathy came to town for the weekend so the clan went down for an evening of fun. We had a great time!

Jacie's First Haircut

I finally gave in and Auntie Katie gave Jacie her first haircut. Just a little trim, and I must admit it did look better afterwards! :)

VBS

OK...this is my last post for the night, but I wanted to give you all a peek at what I have been doing for the last two months that has prevented me from posting at all! :) For the past two months I have been spending every waking moment (outside of time with my family) preparing for Vacation Bible School at St. Andrew's. Last week we had 350 kids and 130 volunteers participate in Egypt...Joseph's Journey from Prison to Palace. It has been absolutely crazy pulling all of this together in only two months, but everything turned out amazing and I loved doing it. I am extremely grateful that the next time around I will have more than two months to do it all! :) Below are just a couple of the 400 pictures I took throughout the week. If you want to see the video that Preston and I put together that includes highlights of the entire week you can go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpkIuH7Vndo
