Trip #2

This trip was for my cousin Erin's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful weekend. We had such a nice time with everyone and we are sad it is over. Check out some of my favorite photos!

Jacie and little Lucas holding hands!!! :) How cute is that...I know they are going to be best buds.
That's my girl...going in for the smooch!!! :)
Erin got the kids these adorable little track suits for the rehearsal....the looked so stinkin cute.
Of course neither would look at the camera, stubborn already!
Ok...does it get much cuter than this....what a stud muffin.
Jacie and the beautiful bride!!!
Oh my...I just want to squeeze her somtimes. What a happy baby!

Minneapolis

We had two trips to Minneapolis on the books for this month. It is wedding season!!! The first weekend we went back for my cousin's bachelorette party and for Sae and Jeremy's wedding. Jacie had fun hanging with Lucas while Erin went to pick Bill up to the airport. My mom and I had a little taste of what it would be like to have twins...pretty sure we would be able to go nowhere because it is a TON of work. We finally got them all loaded up to go to lunch and they where both screaming!!!

Both where a blast and both Preston and I enjoyed seeing lots of college friends that we hadn't seen in a long time at the wedding. Here is the entire Alpha Chi crew with Sae and Jer!!
Hil and Miss J...they are buddies.
Big Cousin Lucas LOVES Jacie-J. He is so sweet to her, gives her kisses, and shows us where Jacie's eyes and nose are. It is so fun to see the two of them together.

Jacie and her Little Cousin Lucas...although he isn't so little anymore!!! He has grown sooooo much since we saw him last. Of course the mommy's had to take them shopping.

The Johnson's Take On NYC

It sounds like our own reality TV show! Preston had to fly out to NYC for five days for a conference for his next actuary exam. Jacie and I decided it wasn't fair that only daddy got to go...so we flew out an met him. It was the perfect opportunity for Jacie to meet her Great Aunt Dolorah who lives on Long Island. We had the most wonderful trip. I was very nervous about travelling with her on my own and she was a SAINT. She literally didn't let out a peep from the time we left the Omaha airport to our return on Monday. She was so good I just couldn't even believe it. Below are a bunch of photos documenting our travels.

Jacie had her first charicature drawing done right in Times Square.

Aunt Dolorah and Jacie infront of the Hershey's store...Jacie you will love this place some day!!!

I just totted her around in my sling the entire time we where there and she loved it...she looked around for most of the day and then would just lay back and nap when she was tired.

The three of us on Park Avenue!

Hanging at the hotel...mommy and daddy where lucky enough to have Aunt Dolorah there to babysit so we had a night out on the town. We received tickets to Jersey Boys from Dolorah for our Birthdays so we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and an amazing show while Jacie and her great auntie bonded! :)

I had to take Jacie to the American Doll Store...I know I am creating a monster! The dolls are just so darn cute though and we where so close that we had to stop by for a visit. You can tell she is just amazed...as she yawns!!! :)

We spent our second day doing a bus trip all, around the city.

Jacie on her first cab ride...mom and dad had to go to their favorite pizza place, John's.

The three of us in Times Square. What an amazing trip!

Dad and Jacie in Toys R Us in Times Square...again we are creating a monster. Do you think she is spoiled already?!?!?!

Eating cereal...YUMMY!

And she loves to be naked. Can you see those teeth that have popped through?

All in all an AMAZING vacation. Thanks for showing us around Dolorah!!! :)

Four months!

The night of the first NE game my friend Jess and her little guy AJ came over to hang out. Jacie and AJ are only a few months apart so it was so cute seeing them play. I am sure it will only be more fun as they get bigger.

Jacie had her four month appointment this week...time is just flying by! She was in perfect health which is so great to hear. She was 13lb. 12oz. which is in the 55th percentile. She is still in the 85th percentile for her height...she is gonna be one tall girl! She has TWO teeth already, the bottom two have both peeked through. The night of her four month birthday we tried out cereal for the first time. It was hilarious...she was making lots of faces. It is going to take a little bit of practice I think.

She has started playing in her little excer-saucer now too. It is so funny to see her grabbing at all of the toys now and she is able to turn herself around in the seat. My l ittle baby is growing WAY TOO FAST!!!

Sports Fan!!!

We had to get Jacie all dressed up in her sports attire now that football season is in full swing. We rotated, one weekend the Gophers and the other the Huskers. It is a crime to not cheer on the Huskers if you live in the state of NE and we have to support our alma mater...so she has outfits for both!

Thanks Gina for the adorable hat!!! The onesie is still big, but I will grow into it!

Thanks uncle T and uncle Z for the adorable onesie!!! Daddy was loving that ponytail!

Minneapolis

At the end of the month I had to go to Minneapolis for a work trip...which worked out well because we had the opportunity to spend some time with family as well. The evening of our anniversary we went over to Uncle Bill and Aunt Cathy's for dinner. We got to see our other little Lucas. He is getting HUGE! I think he will be passing Jacie up in no time. Of course we couldn't get the two of them to cooperate so that we could get a picture together...so here is a darling picture of Lucas!

Over the weekend we made a trip to Minnesota Harvest, the apple orchard. Lucas was loving the apple donuts...actually we all where! They where amazingly delicious!!!

Jacie on her first trip to the Apple Orchard.

Johnson Family Photos

As a gift to Preston's mom and dad for their Birthdays we decided it was time for a new set of Johnson Family Photos! We had two new additions to the family in the last two years so it was really nice to get some new photos.

Matt, Rachel, and Lucas...plus we recently found out there is going to be a new addition to this family!!! Preston and I are SOOOO excited to have a new niece or nephew the end of February!

Miss J practicing her smile.

We thought that Luke might like to play in the water in front of our house...bad idea...he was a mess! Nothing more fun than a little boy covered in mud though!!! :)

Grandpa and Grandma J with their grandbabies.

The whole clan!!!
